May we have your votes?

Don’t we all hate to get a message about an incompatible browser? But in some cases it is hard to avoid. A regular webpage have no excuse what so ever to exclude certain browsers. But Planeto has some very specific technicalities going on behind the scenes. And testing is a real time hog. Right now we are only good to go with IE8 and Firefox 3, but we do plan to add further support. One browser at the time.

And you, our future user, are part of the jury. Let us know what you think. We can’t promise anything more than to listen to you, but ain’t that a good start? You can pick a couple of browsers, and if one of them is ”other”, then please leave us a comment as well.

  • Interesting result.

Gave my 2 available votes (as so many others probably did) on Safari / Chrome. A suggestion could be to make a head to head between these two? Alternative, try same basic voting mechanic, but only 1 vote per person to compare outcome? Or if possible, - a rating 1 - 6 for each alternative to get a clearer ranking?

My point is that allowing 2 votes per person very likely influenced the result here although it gave a basis for starting to narrowing it down further.
  • Good suggestions, but it looks like dev team managed to get most browsers running, after all. So the next release will mot likely remove the browsercheck.

    Thanks anyway!
